Parent Orientation Programme


"Together may we give our children roots to grow and wings to fly"

The Tribhuvan School truly believes that the school shares a common treasure with the parents and the child. In pursuance of its commitment to excellence in education and seeking the partnership as well as participation of parents in accomplishing the same, an Orientation Programme for parents of new admission of Grade 11 was held on the school campus on Saturday 30th June, 2018 because it rightfully acknowledges the pivotal and collaborative role of the parents.

All freshly admitted grade XI students of The Tribhuvan along with their parents were welcomed graciously to this important programme. The programme commenced with shloka and was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the parents and the principal of the school. The soulful rendition of the prayer song , ‘pyasa hiran jaisa’ by the Choir Group won the hearts of the audience.

The Principal, Mrs. M. Das Gupta in her welcome address greeted and welcomed the newly joined students and their parents. She gave a brief orientation about the link between discipline of the students and their study and the need of parents’ spending quality time with their wards. In her address to the students, she reiterated the importance of education and the role of teachers in molding the young minds, preparing them to lead the country towards development.

A brief introduction of the institution and the faculty members and the various facilities available at the school was given to the parents with the help of PPT. Mr. Aziz Ahmed, the coordinator of the school, briefed the learning-teaching activities of the school, the security services available in the campus, the activities of the Student Council, GPS fitted transport facilities. He also introduced the freshers to the library facilities and spoke on the Hobby Club activities.

An interactive session was conducted to clear the doubts of the parents and the students. Some students and their parents also shared their experiences with the school. Overall it was a highly informative and interactive session.
